Description
Your day begins with a scenic drive from the Red Sea to Luxor, one of the most historically significant cities in ancient Egypt. The first visit is Karnak Temple, a massive complex built over more than 1,500 years. Explore the impressive Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 134 towering columns covered in detailed hieroglyphs, and learn about the pharaohs who expanded this sacred structure.
Continue to a traditional perfume workshop, then enjoy lunch overlooking the Nile.
After lunch, cross the river by boat to reach the West Bank, home to the legendary Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of pharaohs such as Ramses and Seti are carved deep into the mountains. Three tomb entrances are included.
Your experience continues with the Temple of Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece belonging to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh, and concludes with a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that have guarded Thebes for over 3,400 years.
