Prague unfolds slowly, beautifully - a city where every street feels like a postcard. Often compared to Paris for its elegance, Prague has its own unmistakable soul, shaped by centuries of history, architecture, and everyday life lived outdoors.
The day begins at St. Vitus Cathedral, one of the city’s most powerful symbols. Rising above Prague Castle, the cathedral tells a 600-year story of devotion, craftsmanship, and ambition. From here, you continue through Prague Castle, a fairytale-like complex officially recognized as the largest medieval castle in the world — a place that feels less like a monument and more like a living city within a city.
Crossing the iconic Charles Bridge, lined with statues and street musicians, you experience one of Prague’s most romantic and atmospheric walks. Locals, travelers, and artists share the bridge, making it a place where the city truly comes alive.
In Old Town Square, time slows down. You admire the historic Town Hall and the famous Astronomical Clock, whose hourly mechanical show still draws crowds — not because it is loud or spectacular, but because it is quietly magical.
Free Time & Leisure
Prague is also about pleasure and curiosity. Even if beer isn’t your thing, tasting it here is part of the experience. One playful option is Vytopna Railway Restaurant in Wenceslas Square, where drinks arrive at your table by miniature trains running on nearly a kilometer of tracks - a place that mixes Czech beer culture with pure fun.
The afternoon is yours to shape. Wander, shop, photograph, or simply sit at a café and watch the city pass by.
For an amazing different perspective, the evenenig Vltava River cruise offers a peaceful way to see Prague from the water. Floating beneath Charles Bridge at dusk, with city lights slowly turning on, the city reveals a softer, more intimate side.
Prague isn’t just something you see - it’s something you feel.
In the evening, you return to your hotel for a restful night.

Today is about slowing down and making Prague your own.
With the city’s iconic landmarks already behind you, you now have the freedom to explore its quieter, more surprising side - the Prague that reveals itself when you wander without a plan. Hidden courtyards, unexpected museums, small streets filled with stories: this is where the city feels most personal.
You might choose to step into the Museum of Alchemy, where myth, science, and medieval curiosity intertwine, or visit the Franz Kafka Museum, an unusual and thought-provoking space that reflects the author’s surreal inner world. A stop at the Lennon Wall adds a different note - colorful, symbolic, and constantly evolving, it has stood as a message of peace and freedom since 1980.
The rest of the day is yours to shape. Browse local shops in search of a meaningful souvenir, enjoy a long lunch in a traditional restaurant, or simply wander - because in Prague, getting lost is part of the experience.
Optional Experience – Kutná Hora & Konopiště Castle
For those curious to discover more of Bohemia beyond Prague, an optional excursion takes you to Kutná Hora, once one of the richest cities in medieval Europe thanks to its silver mines. In the 14th century, it rivaled even London in size and importance.
Here, you explore landmarks such as St. Barbara’s Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the Italian Court — home to the royal mint where Prague’s famous silver coins were struck — and the historic streets that earned the city its UNESCO World Heritage status.
The journey continues to Konopiště Castle, the former residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. Surrounded by forests and gardens, the castle offers a glimpse into aristocratic life at the turn of the 20th century, as well as a poignant reminder of the events that changed European history forever.
In the late afternoon, you return to Prague, carrying with you a deeper understanding of the region’s past.
In the evening, you settle back into your hotel for another peaceful night.
